Job summary

Citizant in the Washington metropolitan area is seeking a detail‑oriented Enrollment Specialist to support PIV card activations, enrollments, and credential updates for federal personnel. You will schedule appointments, verify identities, collect required documentation, and ensure accurate data entry in a fast‑paced environment.

This role emphasizes professional customer service, clear communication, and strict data security.

Qualifications

• Experience using Excel for data management, coordination and reporting.
• Ability to adapt to changing security procedures and requirements.
• Prior experience in a similar role, customer service, or administrative position may be advantageous.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Attend local hiring events 3–4 times a month (may vary, depending on the business need).
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and/or service walk-ins for PIV activations, enrollments, certificate updates, and PIN resets.
• Answer phone calls and emails related to PIV credentials and access control.
• Coordinate enrollment for PIV cards, including verifying applicant identity and collecting documentation.
• Manage appointments to ensure steady applicant flow with accuracy.
• Accurately collect biometric data and personal information.
• Verify documents and information to prevent fraudulent enrollment attempts.
• Maintain data security and comply with privacy regulations.
• Communicate enrollment steps clearly and provide excellent customer service.
• Escalate and de-escalate customer concerns professionally.
• Maintain records of enrollment processes and status.
• Prepare and maintain spreadsheets tracking new applicants, contractors, and federal employees.
• Stay up to date with policies and training.
