Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services seeks a Pipeline Engineer / Project Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team in Texas. The role blends hands-on pipeline design with project leadership, supporting routing, hydraulics, MAOP/MOP determinations, and testing plans from routing through commissioning.

You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, coordinate procurement, and serve as the technical link among clients, engineering teams, and vendors while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of pipeline design experience in midstream energy, oil and gas, or petrochemical sectors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipeline engineering deliverables for gathering, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison among clients, internal disciplines, and third‑party partners.
• Provide QA/QC reviews to ensure safe, code‑compliant designs across disciplines.
• Support construction, commissioning, and startup activities.
