Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services company, is seeking a Pipeline Engineer / Project Engineer to join our Channelview, TX-based team. The role blends hands-on pipeline design with project leadership, supporting routing, hydraulics, testing plans, and field implementation.

As Project Engineer, you will manage scope, schedule and budget while coordinating procurement, vendors and cross-disciplinary deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering.
• 3+ years of pipeline design experience in midstream oil/gas.
• AutoCAD and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Preferred: P.E. license in Texas or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Develop pipeline engineering deliverables for gathering, transmission, and distribution systems.
• Define scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement and vendor activities.
• Serve as primary technical contact for clients and internal teams.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure code-compliant designs.
• Support construction, commissioning, startup, and hydrotest activities.
