Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks a Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team in Texas.

Role combines hands-on mechanical and piping engineering with project leadership, supporting projects from concept through commissioning and startup. You will develop mechanical design deliverables, coordinate scope, schedule, and budget, and liaise with clients and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and piping design deliverables for energy facilities.
• Define project scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate procurement.
• Provide field and construction support during startup and commissioning.
• Review technical documents for constructability and coordination.
• Serve as project engineer with cross-disciplinary collaboration.
