Job summary

NorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join its Professional Engineering Consulting team in Texas. You will design civil and structural systems for energy facilities, perform analyses, and ensure code compliance while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

The role requires a BS in Structural or Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, a P.E. license (TX preferred), and proficiency with SAP, SAFE, and L-Pile.

Qualifications

• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering and professional engineering licensure.
• 10+ years total experience with 3+ years in civil/structural for midstream energy or petrochemical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of steel/concrete design and applicable codes (ACI 318, ASCE 7, etc.).
• P.E. license (TX preferred) and field/plant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for steel structures and foundations.
• Develop demolition plans, rebar schedules, and material take-offs.
• Coordinate deliverables with multidisciplinary teams and review vendor drawings.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards for safe, constructible designs.
• Support field activities and respond to RFIs during projects.
