Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial Calera is seeking experienced Machine Operators for our Pipe Fabrication and Machining operation. You will measure, thread, and adjust flange fit on ductile or steel pipe, using lathes and threaders while operating cranes to move pipe.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting, with first-shift hours and a competitive hourly rate. Overtime and a comprehensive benefits program are available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a machine operator in manufacturing preferred.
• Computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain personal safety and the safety of your team.
• Operate and tend lathes, threaders, and pipe-cutting tools.
• Move pipe with forklift and ensure accurate flange fit.
• Inspect finished pieces and ensure quality standards.
• Assist with maintenance and housekeeping of work area.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and safety programs.
