Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling, delivering exceptional service while promoting local, fresh products.

The role emphasizes knife showmanship, sanitation, and operating the Pick & Prep area in line with merchandising standards; candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Must actively engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Demonstrate ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job including knife skills.
• Demonstrate effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to effectively communicate with, and take direction from supervision.
• Ability to work well with computers and scales.

Responsabilités

• Actively engage guests through product preparation, active sampling and suggestive selling.
• To personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship skills to highlight the services and show offered at Pick & Prep.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area according to strict merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, merchandising and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform PA announcements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
