Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep associate to engage guests through product preparation, sampling, and storytelling. You will operate the Pick & Prep area, maintain quality and sanitation, and support merchandising and guest services. This role requires ability to lift, stand, and work with scales and POS systems.

You will contribute to a friendly, engaging environment by following standards and performing duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Friendly, outgoing personality.
Ability to actively engage guests.
Lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
Read and understand information and direction.
Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
Willingness to learn knife skills and multiple tasks.
Demonstrate effective communication and guest service.

Responsibilities

Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
Demonstrate superior guest service and product storytelling.
Show knife skills and explain Pick & Prep services.
Operate Pick & Prep area according to standards.
Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
Make PA announcements.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
