Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a friendly, guest-focused associate for the Pick & Prep area. You will actively engage guests, demonstrate knife showmanship, and perform product preparation with attention to quality, sanitation, and customer service.

You will operate the Pick & Prep space according to company standards and assist with stocking and merchandising. The role requires the ability to lift and move items, read directions, and work with computers and scales.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality is required.
• Ability to actively engage guests and provide friendly service.
• Ability to work with others and contribute to a team.
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations is preferred.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn multiple tasks and knife skills.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work with computers and scales.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests through product preparation, sampling and suggestive selling.
• Provide superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship for Pick & Prep services.
• Operate Pick & Prep area following merchandising and operational standards.
• Ensure product quality meets Lowes Foods standards.
• Maintain department sanitation and safety.
• Perform product prep, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
