Job summary

Lowes Foods, LLC is seeking a Pick & Prep team member to engage guests, demonstrate product preparation and provide excellent service in the store. You will perform knife skills demonstrations, maintain sanitation and operate the Pick & Prep area to company standards.

The role includes stocking, merchandising and addressing guest needs with a friendly, team-focused approach. The position emphasizes active guest interaction, product knowledge and adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Must be able to actively engage guests.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Knowledge of Pick & Prep operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and knife skills.
• Demonstrate effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage guests through product preparation and sampling.
• Demonstrate superior guest service and storytelling about products.
• Demonstrate knife showmanship for Pick & Prep services.
• Operate the Pick & Prep area to standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety in the department.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, stocking, merchandising and guest service as needed.
• Make PA announcements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
