Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks a leader in physician outreach to broaden referrals and strengthen relationships with community providers and PCPs across central MA. You will drive growth by coordinating with senior executives, marketing, and service line leaders while managing multiple outreach initiatives.

Reporting to senior leadership, you will use Salesforce and other tools to monitor feedback, optimize sessions, and expand the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of experience in health care or hospital outreach.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license required to travel.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.
• Sales and marketing experience in the medical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary sales and marketing contact for referring physician offices.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive growth strategy for referrals.
• Collaborate with executives, Marketing and OCI to identify key physicians.
• Maintain profiles of offices visited using Salesforce and SharePoint.
• Track outreach activity and monitor growth in referrals.
• Coordinate meetings between executives, specialists and physicians.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, Joint Commission.
