Job summary

Mindful Health Solutions is seeking a Physician Outreach Specialist in the Sacramento area to cultivate and expand physician referral networks. You will spend significant time in the field meeting with referring providers, attending events, and leading patient-focused outreach programs.

The role involves developing strategic outreach plans, tracking activity in the CRM, and collaborating with clinic operations, marketing, and leadership to drive growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience working with physicians/providers or medical practices.
• Working knowledge of healthcare regulatory policy (PHI and HIPAA).
• Outgoing personality with excellent communication, written and verbal.
• Located in Sacramento and willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Identify referral sources and grow physician referrals through on-site visits and events.
• Support growth metrics for clinics and practices (consults, new patient starts, no-show rates).
• Develop and implement regular strategic plans to increase referrals based on trends.
• Lead community events and be the point of contact with local groups.
• Document visits and relationships in the CRM and report insights.
