Job summary

WelbeHealth LLC is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the interdisciplinary team and provide restorative therapy to participants at centers and in participants’ homes. Under the direction of a Physical Therapist, you will implement care plans and support the rehab team to maximize independence and safety.

You will collaborate with therapists, providers, and disciplines to deliver patient-centered care with a focus on balance, function, and quality of life for commonly frail

Qualifications

• PTA knowledge necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
• Experience with rehabilitative therapy principles and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ROM, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation team to implement activities based on treatment plans.
• Handle scheduling of participants’ treatments, clinical visits, and billing.
• Document PT interventions per care plans including therapeutic modalities.
