Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house rehabilitation team. You will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under PT supervision.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, documenting progress, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. A Texas PTA license and strong communication skills are required; SNF experience is preferred. Flexible PRN schedule offered.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in Texas (PTA).
• SNF/long-term care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed PT treatments to relieve pain and improve function.
• Provide skilled PT services under PT supervision.
• Respond to service requests and relay information to the PT.
• Modify care plans under PT supervision.
• Measure and record motor function and strength.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust approaches with the team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
• Ensure thorough timely documentation per policies.
• Attend meetings as designated by Rehab Director.
