Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation team. Under a Physical Therapist, you will provide restorative services to participants at the center and in their homes to maximize independence and safety.

The role emphasizes close collaboration with therapists and other disciplines, with a focus on long-term participant relationships and a balanced workload. Base pay includes bonus and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• PTA associate’s degree from an accredited program.
• Valid PTA license, or proof of license eligibility.
• PTA knowledge necessary to treat frail, elderly participants with complex needs.
• Outpatient, acute, inpatient, or skilled nursing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist in obtaining vital signs, ranges of motion, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation team to implement activities based on treatment plans.
• Handle scheduling of participants’ treatments, clinical visits, and billing.
• Document physical therapy interventions in accordance with care plans.
