Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join the interdisciplinary Rehabilitation team, delivering restorative services at the center and in participants’ homes under the direction of a Physical Therapist. You will support individualized treatment plans to maximize independence, safety, and function, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• PTA license required or license eligibility.
• Experience with rehabilitative care for elderly participants preferred.
• Strong ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team (IDT).

Responsibilities

• Administer participant treatment programs as established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist the Physical Therapist by obtaining vital signs, ROM, and strength testing.
• Coordinate with Rehabilitation team to implement activities from individual treatment plans.
• Schedule participant treatments, clinical visits, and billing; document interventions per care plans.
