Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire (AHA).
• Board eligible; complete board exam at next available date and continue required CE for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, family, caregivers, students and other health professionals.
• Follows and adjusts plan of care with communication to evaluating therapist.
• Documents according to policy and HIPAA/clinical guidelines.
• Complete annual education for DNV Hip & Knee Replacement Program.
