Job summary

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Greenbrier, TN is hiring a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant for our Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on geriatric rehabilitation, with responsibilities to assist the PT, design and implement therapy plans, and promote mobility and wellness for residents.

The ideal candidate holds a PTA license for the state, can evaluate and treat independently, and is passionate about improving residents’ quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state of practice.
• Experience with geriatric populations is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist with therapies to improve mobility and reduce pain.
• Provide functional activities to enhance residents' wellness in a skilled nursing setting.
• Help prevent or limit disability through targeted therapy and exercise.
• Collaborate with the team to support residents’ rehabilitation goals.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• SNF experience preferred but not required
