Job summary

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Tennessee is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join a skilled nursing facility team. The role supports mobility and pain relief for geriatric residents and works under the supervising PT to implement treatment plans.

The ideal candidate holds an active PTA license, is able to evaluate and treat independently with residents, and is passionate about improving daily function within a rehab-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active PTA license in the state of practice.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
• Passion for geriatric population and functional rehab.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote fitness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Help implement treatment plans and monitor resident progress under supervision.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
