Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering exceptional patient care. You’ll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and exposure to physical therapy as you support therapists and patients.

You will greet patients, assist with intake, prepare treatment areas, help with exercises, and monitor progress. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow in healthcare.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Must be 18+ years.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare-related experience or certifications such as PTA/PT aide; Certified Personal Trainer experience; Education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
