Job summary

ATI Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to join a collaborative team delivering patient care. You will gain hands-on training and mentorship while supporting therapists and patients.

The role includes greeting patients, assisting with intake and scheduling, preparing treatment areas, supervising home exercise programs, and tracking progress. A strong emphasis on customer service and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma.
• Must be 18+ years.
• Healthcare and/or customer service experience.
• Preferred: healthcare experience (PT Aide/Technician, Medical Assistant, hospital employment, chiropractic, fitness industry, PT & PTA students).
• Preferred: Certified Personal Trainer experience.
• Preferred: Experience or education in Health Services, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with patients warmly both by phone and in person during the daily check-in process and throughout their appointment time.
• Promote an efficient patient intake and registration process and assist clinicians with timely scheduling.
• Effectively onboard new patients reviewing relevant paperwork, verifying benefits, and completion of medical forms.
• Support Physical Therapist by preparing and cleaning treatment areas, as well as setting up and adjusting exercise equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback the therapy team.
• Assist patients in performing exercises and support their prescribed home exercise programs.
