Job summary

Ascension is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Services team at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay in Panama City, FL. You’ll perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop and revise care plans, and deliver therapy interventions to diverse patient populations.

You will supervise physical therapy assistants and students, collaborate with the care team, and ensure compliance with Florida licensure and AHA/Red Cross BLS requirements.

Qualifications

• Florida PT license required before start date.
• BLS Provider within 1 month (30 days) of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.


• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
