Job summary

Ascension is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join the Rehabilitation Services team in Panama City, FL. This full-time, day-shift role focuses on evaluating patients, designing and implementing therapy plans, and monitoring progress to support independent living skills.

The position requires Florida OT licensure, a Bachelor's degree (Master's or Doctorate preferred), and BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Comprehensive benefits are provided by Ascension.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Document findings of patient progress. Monitors and modifies the plan of care as needed.
• Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from therapy services and provides information regarding appropriate selection/use of adaptive equipment and support programs.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
