Job summary

Ascension in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Physical Therapist for Outpatient Adult Therapy. The role is day shift, full-time, with duties to assess patients, plan and adjust care, and deliver therapy interventions while supervising PT staff.

Minimum requirements include Florida PT licensure, BLS within 30 days, and a bachelor’s degree (master’s or doctorate preferred). A $10,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits are included.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Perform initial and on-going assessments of patient's condition.
• Establish, revise, and evaluate a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient.
• Oversee activities of physical therapy assistants, students and other support personnel.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
