Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Physical Therapist at Seton Smithville Regional Hospital in Smithville, TX. The position supports acute care/inpatient rehabilitation with a PRN and Days schedule, collaborating with physicians and care teams to design and implement personalized rehabilitation plans.

You will deliver therapeutic care, document progress, and educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies tailored to each diagnosis, ensuring smooth care transitions within the inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required.
• Texas PT licensure required within 6 months of hire date.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
