Ascension's Studer Family Children's Hospital in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a licensed rehab therapist specializing in physical therapy to join the Pediatric Therapy team. This full-time, day-shift role involves initial and ongoing patient assessments, developing and revising care plans, and delivering outpatient PT interventions.

You will oversee PT assistants and students, collaborate with family involvement, and meet credential requirements (BLS within 30 days and RPT licensure).

• Required: BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; Licensed Rehab Therapist (RPT) prior to hire.
• Preferred: Driver's License.
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate preferred.

• Establishes, revises and evaluates a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient/family.
• Performs outpatient therapy interventions utilizing standard outpatient physical therapy techniques.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Drivers License.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree OR Doctorate preferred.
