Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care across pediatric, adult and geriatric populations. You’ll evaluate, plan and implement therapy programs to restore function and reduce pain in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Requires a degree from an accredited PT program (BS/MS/DPT), Georgia license or compact privileges, BCLS certification, and willingness to maintain CEUs. Two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State.

Responsabilités

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
