Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our acute care team. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and implement modalities to improve function and reduce pain across all ages.

You will collaborate with therapists and support staff, mentor junior team members, and adhere to state licensure requirements and BCLS training to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT services for a designated group of patients to help them reach the highest level of physical independence.
• Performs physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Provides care to patients across all ages: pediatric, adult, and geriatric.
• May supervise and orient staff as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Physical Therapist, FT, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, 5000K SOB

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
