Piedmont Newton Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide services to a diverse patient population across the lifespan.

You will perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury, with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.

Requirements include a BS/MS/DPT in Physical Therapy, current Georgia PT license, BCLS, CEUs; two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BS, MS, or DPT) required.
• Must maintain CEUs as required by the State.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges required.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsabilités

• Provide physical therapy services for a designated group of patients to maximize independence.
• Conduct evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients across the continuum.
• Oversee orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff as needed.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
