Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital invites a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Fayette. You will assess, plan, and deliver therapeutic interventions to help patients regain function and reduce pain across all ages.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (BS, MS, or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to a designated patient group to improve independence.
• Conduct PT evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Care for patients across the lifespan (pediatric to geriatric) and supervise PT assistants as needed.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapist, FT, Piedmont Fayette Hospital, 5000K SOB

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
