Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality therapy to a diverse patient population across pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups. You will conduct evaluations and administer modalities to restore function and relieve pain.

You will supervise PT assistants and contribute to ongoing staff orientation and development, within a collaborative hospital setting. Current Georgia PT license or compact privileges and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State
• BCLS certification required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Current Georgia PT license or compact privileges required

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and reduce pain
• Supervise and guide PT assistants as needed
• Orientate and train assigned staff

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

Licenses and Certifications
