Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. You will perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to improve function and reduce pain, under the supervision of a PT.

The role includes guiding assigned staff and ensuring quality patient care. Required licensure in Georgia, BCLS certification, and a degree in Physical Therapy (BS/MS/DPT).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Required Hours:

Tues-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday weekend option plan, 5 days/week, 8am-4:30pm

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
