Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive PT services for a diverse patient population, from pediatric to geriatric. You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, administer modalities, and work with PT assistants. A valid Georgia license or compact privilege and BCLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Must maintain CEU credits per state requirements.
• 2 years of experience preferred.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or Georgia Compact Privileges.
• BCLS from AHA required.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services for a designated patient group to reach independence.
• Perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and relieve pain.
• Serve patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric ages.
• Oversee therapy assistants and assist with orientation of staff.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
