Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team. The role involves providing physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, conducting evaluations, selecting modalities, and guiding clinical staff as needed.

Required hours are Tue-Sat or Sun-Thu with a 5-day work week, 8:00 am–4:30 pm. This position emphasizes patient independence, multidisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development within a supportive Piedmont environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program; BS, MS, or DPT required.
• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach the highest level of physical independence.
• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury.
• Provides patient care to all age groups including pediatric, adult and geriatric.
• May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Responsibilities

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
