Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide care to diverse patient populations, from pediatric to geriatric, across Georgia. The role emphasizes evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and reduce pain.

You’ll work with PT assistants and may mentor staff. Applicants should hold a Georgia Physical Therapist license (or compact privileges) and current BCLS certification; a BS/MS/DPT and 2 years of experience preferred.

• Must maintain current CEUs as required by the State.

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU’s as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support through AHA Required
