Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey seeks a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility. You will work alongside a PT to implement therapy plans and help residents regain mobility and reduce pain.

The ideal candidate holds an active NJ PTA license, is comfortable evaluating and treating residents independently, and enjoys contributing to functional activities that enhance daily living and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Active NJ PTA license required.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.
• Per diem availability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and relieve pain.
• Prevent or limit permanent disability and promote overall wellness in a SNF.

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
