Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The role focuses on geriatric care, evaluating and treating residents with independence under supervision.

You will assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness. A valid PTA license in the state and SNF experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a PTA license in the state of practice.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently with geriatric focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility and prevent disability.
• Promote overall fitness and wellness for residents in a skilled nursing facility.

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
