Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center seeks a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join its geriatric care team in a skilled nursing environment. The PTA will support the physical therapy program, assist with mobility-focused therapies, and help residents improve function under supervision.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PTA license in the state and is comfortable working independently to provide high-quality care. Per diem scheduling offers flexibility within the SNF setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of practice.
• Experience in geriatric or SNF settings is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
