Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center in New Jersey is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility.

You will assist the PT with mobility-enhancing therapies, evaluate and treat residents independently, and contribute to functional activity programs to improve daily life.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NJ PTA license.
• Per diem schedule; flexibility a plus.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Looking for a per diem talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description:

Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
