Job summary

Chatham Hills Subacute Care Center is seeking a per diem Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team in a Skilled Nursing Facility. The candidate should have a passion for the geriatric population, hold a current New Jersey PTA license, and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

You will assist the PT with therapies aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, preventing disability, and promoting overall fitness and wellness.

Qualifications

• License as Physical Therapy Assistant in New Jersey required.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent disability, and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
• Support resident care plans within a geriatric setting.
