Job summary

Swain Resort in Kentucky is seeking a Phone Attendant to deliver courteous, accurate, and efficient guest service by phone. You will handle ticketing inquiries, reservations, rentals, and general resort information while representing Swain Resort professionally.

This seasonal/part-time role requires weekend and holiday availability. You will answer calls, provide information on lift tickets, season passes, rentals, and lessons, and escalate issues to supervisors when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
• Provide information on lift tickets, season passes, rentals, and lessons.
• Assist guests with reservations, tickets, and account inquiries by phone.
• Record accurate messages and forward requests to the relevant department.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events and promotions.
• Handle guest issues calmly and escalate when needed.
• Keep workstation clean and organized.
• Support other ticketing or guest services staff during peak times.
• Follow safety and confidentiality procedures.

Position Summary

The Phone Attendant at Swain Resort is responsible for providing courteous, accurate, and efficient service to guests calling the resort. This position handles ticketing inquiries, rental questions, lesson scheduling, and general resort information while representing Swain Resort in a professional and helpful manner.

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, addressing guest questions and concerns.
• Provide information about lift tickets, season passes, rentals, lessons, and resort policies.
• Assist guests with reservations, ticket purchases, and account inquiries via phone.
• Record accurate messages, information, and requests, forwarding to the appropriate department when necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events, promotions, and operations.
• Handle guest issues or complaints calmly and escalat(e) to supervisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Support other Ticketing or Guest Services staff as needed during peak times.
• Follow all safety, privacy, and confidentiality procedures.
