Job summary

Swain Resort seeks an attentive waitstaff member to deliver outstanding guest service across its Food & Beverage outlets. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, maintain dining areas, and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience.

Role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays. Part-time, seasonal, or full-time opportunities based on needs are available in a fast-paced resort setting.

Qualifications

• Prev serving or customer service experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Team-oriented, positive, and professional attitude.
• Must stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Available to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly in a warm, friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using the resort’s POS system.
• Deliver orders promptly with correct presentation and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and workstations.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service.
• Handle payments accurately and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address needs or concerns.
• Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with banquets, special events, and busy weekends.

Pay Rate Range: $10.70+ Tips (No Tip Pooling)

Position Summary

The Waitstaff at Swain Resort provides outstanding guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring each guest has an enjoyable dining experience. This position plays a key role in representing the resort’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere in all Food & Beverage outlets.
