Job summary

Swain Resort is seeking a Ticket Window Cashier to provide friendly, accurate service for guests purchasing lift tickets, season passes, or other ticketed products. The role acts as a primary contact at the window and supports smooth resort operations.

This seasonal/part-time position also offers weekend and holiday scheduling, with a pay rate range of $16.50 to $18.00 per hour. Previous cashier or customer service experience is preferred, and strong communication skills are essential to succeed

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Accurately process ticket, pass, and other product sales using the POS.
• Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions and balance cash drawers.
• Provide information about ticket types, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist guests with ticket pickup, exchanges, or upgrades.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness at the ticket window.
• Communicate with other Ticketing staff and Guest Services for smooth operations.
• Follow safety, confidentiality procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-day procedures.

Position Summary

The Ticket Window Cashier at Swain Resort is responsible for providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service to guests purchasing lift tickets, season passes, or other ticketed products. This position serves as a key point of contact for guests and helps ensure a smooth, positive experience at the resort.

• Greet guests in a professional and welcoming manner.
• Accurately process ticket, pass, and other product sales using the resort’s point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions responsibly and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
• Provide information about ticket types, pricing, and promotions.
• Assist guests with ticket pickup, exchanges, or upgrades as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness at the ticket window and surrounding areas.
• Communicate effectively with other Ticketing staff and Guest Services to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow all safety, liability, and confidentiality procedures.
• Assist with opening, closing, and end-of-day procedures as assigned.
