Banner Health is seeking a supervisor for the Procurement-Gateway within Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona. The role provides general supervision, directs procurement test management, and ensures high-quality, cost-effective services.

The incumbent leads staff, manages budgets, and ensures CAP/CMS/AABB/FDA/CLIA compliance, while championing Six Sigma and Lean initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care.

Qualifications

• Three years of phlebotomy or processing experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Leadership experience or management training is required.
• Experience in personnel and financial management and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements is necessary.

Responsabilités

• Hire, train, and supervise department staff; provide leadership and performance evaluations.
• Monitor department finances; help meet budget and reduce waste.
• Ensure accreditation compliance with CAP, CMS, AABB, FDA, and CLIA; maintain OSHA standards.
• Lead task forces to improve service quality, safety, and efficiency using Six Sigma/Lean.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to specimens and results.
