Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories/Laboratory Sciences of Arizona is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to lead off-site phlebotomy operations and drive performance toward corporate objectives. You will manage staffing, training, budgeting, and vendor relations to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include coaching staff through education, maintaining service levels, and applying Six Sigma/Lean principles to improve workflows while safeguarding safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ of Phlebotomy experience.
• Ability to perform complex problem solving and leadership skills required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Advanced computer skills. Exceptional Customer Service skills.
• Working knowledge of regulatory, accrediting, and compliance requirements.
• Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
• IOP placement requires execution of “Confidential Information and Restrictive Covenant Agreement”.
• Placement in Mobile/Long Term Care department requires ADHS Fingerprinting Certification or the ability to obtain fingerprinting certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversees recruitment, training, and performance reviews for up to 40 technical employees.
• Manages staffing, budgeting, and overtime; monitors supplies and costs.
• Ensures service levels at locations and promotes community relations.
• Identifies and resolves issues using Six Sigma and Lean methods; champions safety.
• Coordinates facilities management with vendors, contractors, and account managers.
