Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and hospital-approved phlebotomy course completed.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred (6 months).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (CPT).
• Valid Maryland driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood from patients per lab policies and procedures.
• Label specimens accurately and promptly after collection.
• Verify patient identity and enter orders into LIS.
• Assist in training new associates and participate in quality teams.
• Maintain a sanitary work area and coordinate supplies as needed.
