Labcorp in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to perform blood collection and specimen handling with accuracy and care. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:45pm; some Saturdays as assigned.

You will collect samples for drug screens and other tests, enter data, assist with billing tasks, and maintain patient records while delivering excellent customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, with a preference for 1+ year

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 3+ months experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Maintain accurate patient data entries and logs.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
