Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The role involves blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques, processing specimens, and providing exceptional customer service. The position requires phlebotomy certification or training, with opportunities for travel to additional sites.

Schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm and every other Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm. Pay range is $17.75–$26.00 per hour with eligible bonus opportunities through the PST Incentive

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
Provide superior customer service to all patients.
Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
Travel to additional sites when needed.
