Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Manassas, VA. The role includes performing blood collections, handling specimens, and ensuring accurate patient data entry while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities span collecting samples, processing billing information, and maintaining logs. The position requires phlebotomy certification or training, flexibility to travel to additional sites, and the ability to work Monday through Saturday as needed.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist

Responsibilities

• Perf orm blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
