Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Onley, VA. The role involves skilled specimen collection, accurate data entry, and delivering exceptional patient service.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with potential Saturday shifts, and may travel to other sites as needed. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are required; prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
• Other Duties as assigned.
